The Religious Freedom & Business Foundation is aimed to promote respect for freedom of religion or belief, and diversity, and to educate the global business community about how religious freedom is good for business, by helping businesses foster interfaith understanding and peace. It is also the founder of the Corporate Religious Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (REDI) Index Award, an eminent international prize.

On May 23rd, 2023, in the beautiful setting of the US capital Washington DC, TeaPak was honored, for the second year, with the REDI Index Award, for the daily commitment and actions that we spontaneously have implemented to encourage religious integration and respect for the different cultures that we have the privilege of counting among our employees.

TeaPak, which ranked first in Europe as a “Faith-Friendly” company in 2023, received the prestigious recognition directly from the hands of RFB Foundation’s President Brian J. Grim, in the presence of many other major international organizations and all belonging to the “Fortune 500” list, including American Airlines, Paypal, Google, and Intel.

Receiving this important award for the second time underlines the values that we promote daily in the company, the will to create cohesion and cooperation among TeaPakies, the cultural and spiritual wealth we have the privilege of breathing every day and that genuinely we implement by means of concrete actions. For TeaPak, receiving this prize is a privilege and a reason for huge gratification and satisfaction.

In December 2022, our Company decided to apply for an important contest, promoted by British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS), the main International Food Safety Standard against which our Company is certified since 2010, with the highest AA score.

The competition aim was to reward the Best European Production Site Certified BRCGS and it was applicable to all the European Companies certified against one of the BRCGS standards; for what concern our Company, the BRCGS Food.

After being named among the finalists, the 1^st of February TeaPak was rewarded as “BRCGS Certificated Site of the Year” during the international event “Food Safety Europe 2023”, which had taken place in London with the attendance of many others important international Companies.

Our Company has been awarded for the commitment showed in developing and applying in an excellent way the BRCGS program, using it for the purpose of the continuous improvement of its processes.

Moreover, BRCGS has recognized to our Company the great commitment in spreading the excellence of the standard principles among all its stakeholders and within the organization.

Since its founding in 1991, it has been clear to the High Management that high quality can only be achieved by providing the right resources and by involving employees and stakeholders in the mission.

In recent years, an internal plan has been developed and assessed to promote the Food Safety Culture at all levels. This plan includes several activities aimed at promoting a trustful engagement of all the employees, making them fully aware of how important their job is in making high-quality products, which are also fully compliant with all the relevant regulations.

TeaPak Food Safety Culture is also shared with the main Stakeholders with whom are in place mutual trustful relationship and efficient cooperation.

The BRCGS Certificated Site of the Year Award is a prestigious recognition that our Company receives with honor and that stimulates us to continuously improve, in order to maintain Quality Excellence Standard.

The Welfare Index PMI evaluates the level of corporate welfare in small and medium-sized Italian enterprises. The assessment takes three factors into account: the breadth and content of the initiatives implemented for each of the 12 areas of Corporate Welfare, the way in which the company involves workers and manages its own welfare choices, and the originality of the initiatives and their distinctiveness in the Italian landscape.

TeaPak s.r.l. SB has obtained the highest score and recognition in 2020, achieving the 5″W” of the Welfare Champion award and the special mention for resilience to COVID. In 2021 TeaPak has reconfirmed its commitment to corporate welfare by reaching once again the maximum rating of Welfare Champion among more than 6.000 participating companies throughout the Country, with the “Health” special mention, assigned to only 5 participating companies, for the great attention paid to the psycho-physical well-being of its employees.

In 2022 TeaPak was awarded this prestigious award for the third consecutive year, confirming the company’s commitment to providing a very articulated and dynamic welfare system, which responds promptly to the needs of employees, but which at the same time promotes good practices , financial education, culture of sustainability, so as to self-feed the concept of welfare both among employees and in the community.

TeaPak is among the 1000 Best Performer Companies in the province of Bologna that between 2017 and 2019 have achieved significant economic results.

“ Organic ” Certification refers to a global system of farm management and agri-food production based on the interaction between best environmental practices, a high level of biodiversity, the protection of natural resources, and the application of rigorous criteria in animal welfare and production. It also meets the preferences of consumers seeking products created using natural ingredients and processes.

Since 2007, the EU has made it mandatory to use the EU organic logo on all packaged products made in the EU containing at least 95% organic ingredients. All our products are certified organic.

The BRCGS (Global Standard for Food Safety) and the  IFS   (International Food Standard) are two specific standards for the safety of agri-food products.

Both are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an international organization whose main purpose is to strengthen and promote food safety throughout the supply chain.

These Standards constitute a benchmark for companies operating in the food production sector, offering a series of guidelines to ensure food safety and to manage the quality of products in order to fully meet customer expectations.

IFS and BRCGS have been developed with the aim of defining food safety and quality requirements, as well as operational criteria that must be met for the purpose of fulfilling all obligations established by the regulations in force, in order to safeguard consumers.

The  Rainforest Alliance  is an international non-profit organization whose purpose is to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods. We have obtained certification for our product line “Choice”, thus guaranteeing that the raw materials required for our product come from farms that meet sustainability standards.

All our packaging materials come from  FSC-certified   suppliers that purchase from FSC-certified forests. The FSC Principles and Criteria describe the essential elements and/or rules for environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically effective forest management.

The  ISO 45001   certification is the international standard that specifies the requirements for the design and implementation of an occupational safety and health (OSH) management system to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and illnesses. Specifically, the standard has the ultimate goal of helping companies provide a safe and healthy work environment for the employees and those who visit the workplace by proactively improving their OSH performance.

This can be achieved by controlling the factors that could potentially lead to injury, disease, etc. Consequently, ISO 45001 is concerned with mitigating all factors that are harmful or that represent a danger to the physical and/or mental well-being of the employees.

The  ISO 14001  certification is the worldwide international standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). The ISO 14001 standard provides a management structure for the integration of environmental management practices by pursuing environmental protection, pollution prevention and reduction of energy and resource consumption.

By obtaining the ISO 14001 certification, TeaPak s.r.l. SB demonstrates its commitment to the continuous improvement of its environmental performance and, more generally, its focus on environmental sustainability policies.
